Pierre Louis Martin dit Pelland

     Pierre Louis was born on Wednesday, 21 August 1715 in Berthierville, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Yves Martin dit Pelland and Marie Piette dit Trempe. He was christened there on 25 August 1715 in St-Pierre Church.1 Pierre married Catherine St-Martin on 26 January 1739 in Lanoraie, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Joseph Church.2 Pierre departed this life on Monday, 15 April 1776 in Berthierville, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada, at age 60 years, 7 months and 25 days. He was buried there in the churchyard of Ste-Genevieve on Tuesday, 16 April 1776.3
