Martha Leggett

     Martha was born circa 1731 in West Farms, Westchester County, New York. She was the daughter of Gabriel Leggett and Bridget Williams. Martha married Hezekiah Forguson before 25 June 1761 in New York. Hezekiah and Martha had a son, Gabriel. Martha was still living when her father mentioned her in his will dated on 25 June 1781. He writes: "to my daughter, Martha Forguson, 30 pounds with this proviso, that she shall survive her husband, Hezekiah Forguson, otherwise not".
