Mary Lothrop

F, b. 22 March 1654
     Mary was born on Sunday, 22 March 1654 in Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Joseph Lathrop and Mary Ansell. Mary married Edward Crowell, son of Yelverton Crowell and Elizabeth Hammond, on 16 January 1673/74 in Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1 Edward and Mary had children: Mary [3/15/1674], unnamed daughter [3/14/1676-3/19/1676], Benjamin [4/14/1678], Yelverton [2/17/1680], Joseph [3/01/1682], Bethsheba [6/06/1684-1684] & Edward [6/06/1685].1 Mary married second on14 April 1689, Samuel Dennis and by him had three children. Mary's husband, Edward, died before 1 March 1688/89 in Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey, leaving her a widow.
