Eleanor Lee

     Eleanor was born circa 1731 in Seneca Creek, Prince George's County, Maryland. She was the daughter of James Lee and Mary [Maria] (?) Eleanor married Thomas Betterton in 1749 in Maryland. Thomas and Eleanor had children: Thomas [ 1750-1840][m. 1/00/1782 Palatia Bailey], James [1752-1805], Joshua [1762-1840][m. 2/26/1810 Mary West], Joseph [176301840][m. 1781 Anna Blassingame], William [1764-1840], Sarah [1765], Mary [1767] & Elizabeth [1775]. She is buried on their own land with her husband Thomas in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
