William King II1

M, b. circa 1627, d. before 25 November 1684
     William was born circa 1627 in Dorchestershire, England. He was the son of William King and Dorothy Hayne. William married Katherine Shefflyn circa 1642 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. By 1659, William had become a part of the Quaker faith and was sentenced to be imprisoned, fined, to receive 15 lashes, and to be banished from the colony under penalty of death. He returned to England for the remainder of his days. William made his will in September 1682. The 7th month of 1682. He wrote a codicil to his will on 6 September 1684. William departed this life before 25 November 1684 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. His will was probated the 25th day of the 9th month 1684 in Salem. His wife, Katherine, was the sole executrix and had William's estate returned to her in the sum of £260 3s.
