Joseph Judson

     Joseph was born in 1619 in Kirby Mooreside, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of William Judson and Grace (?) Joseph married Sarah Porter, daughter of John Porter and Anna White, on 24 October 1644 in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. Joseph made his will on 27 February 1680 at Woodbury, Litchfield County, Connecticut. He notes that he is now of Woodbury. He mentions his wife, Sarah. He bequeaths to his eldest son, John, £300. To his son, James, £300. To his daughters: Sarah Howell & Grace Priden £10 each. To daughters, Hannah, Easter, Ruth & Abigail £50 a piece. He made his son, John, executor. He appointed Mr. Zachary Walker, brother, Jeremiah Judson, Mr. Joseph Hawley & Samuel Sherman Jr. as overseers.
