Hugh Johnson

M, b. before 7 June 1751
Hugh was born before 7 June 1751 in Wrawby, Lincolnshire, England. On 7 June 1751, he was christened in Wrawby, Lincolnshire, England, at St. Mary the Virgin Church.1 He was the son of John Johnson and Susanna Ellis. Hugh married Sarah Brult on 20 February 1775 in Wrawby, Lincolnshire, England, at St. Mary the Virgin Church.2 It is here that the "Bethel" name is first seen in the family and is carried down through the generations. The name seems to come from the maternal side of either Hugh's mother or father.
