Constance Hopkins1

F, b. before 11 May 1606, d. October 1677
     Constance was born in Hursley, Hampshire, England. She was christened there on 11 May 1606. The parish record reads:"undecimo de May, Constancia filia Steph. Hopkins fuit baptizata", which translates into English as "Eleventh day of May, Constance daughter of Steph. Hopkins was baptized." She was the daughter of Stephen Hopkins and Mary. Constance married Nicholas Snow III on 1 June 1627 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.2 Constance's husband, Nicholas, died on 15 November 1676 in Eastham leaving her a widow. She was buried there in the Cove Burying Ground alongside her husband, Nicholas. Constance departed this life mid October 1677 in Eastham.
