Mary Horton

     Mary was born in 1687 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Jonathan Horton I Captain and Bethia Wells. Mary married David Horton, son of Caleb Horton and ___ (?), after 30 December 1699 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. The family resided at Cutchaque, Suffolk Co., New York. Mary is noted in her father's will of 21 February 1707 as " leave to my daughter, Mary Goldsmith, widow..". She has also been noted as being the wife of David Horton, son of Caleb, her uncle. Mary married Thomas Goldsmith before 20 February 1706/7 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Mary departed this life in 1749 in Cutchogue in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
