Adrien Hayot

Adrien was born in Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 30 October 1638 in the Basilica of Notre Dame.1 He was the son of Thomas Hayot and Jeanne Boucher. Adrien married Marie-Madeleine Guyon on 24 November 1661 in ville de Quebec at the Basilica of Notre Dame.2 Adrien & Marie-Madeleine had children: Marie [3/05/1663-10/02/1701][m. 4/14/1681 Jean Charles Marchand], Anne [1665-10/02/1690], Charles [1667], Antoine Adrien [4/02/1669-12/09/1712], Louis [4/23/1671][m. 11/22/1693 Marie Louise Goureau dit Lagaillardise], Joseph 3/15/1673-4/27/1673] & Francois [6/03/1674].3 Adrien's wife, Marie-Madeleine, died circa 1675 in Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. 1681, Adrien was listed on the Canadian Census in St-Antoine-de-Tilly, Lotbiniere County, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Adrien Hayot [41 years], Charles [14 years], Adrien [12 years], Louis [10 years] & Francois [8 years].4 Adrien departed this life in St-Antoine-de-Tilly, Lotbiniere County, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Antione-de-Tilly on Wednesday, 7 December 1712.5
