Matthew de Haviland1

Matthew de was born on Thursday, 15 June 1550 in Poole, Dorchestershire, England. He was the son of Christopher de Haviland and Cecilia Mann. Matthew was made freeman of Bristol in 9 December 1575. He was sherrif of Bristol in 1594 & in 1607, he was elected mayor. He was also considered a great benefactor to that city. Matthew departed this life on Wednesday, 11 March 1619/20 in Bristol, Avonshire, England.
