Thomas Grymwade

M, b. circa 1487, d. before 28 November 1547
     Thomas was born circa 1487 in Nedging, County Suffolk, England.1 He was the son of Thomas Grymwade. The name of Thomas' first wife is unknown. Thomas married Alice (?).1 Thomas made his will on 10 August 1547.

I Thomas Grymwade of Nedginge, the elder . . . to Thomas Grymwade the Sonne of William Gremwade of Whatfeld my house and Landes in Neginge . . . after the decease of Alice my wyffe . . . or when he come to his full age . . . if saide Thomas die without issue . . . to Edmunde his brother And if the bothe die without issue Then . . .to William the elder brother . . . to three o my Sone Thomas Childrene twentie pounds . . . that is to saye to William Hohn and Katherine . . . to William my Sonne my howse and landes in Bylliston . . . tpo Edmunde my Sonne my house and landes in Whatfeld and Nawton called Whatfeld hall the whiche I have by lease of Harry Huberde Esquier upon the condycon following that the said Edmunde when soever he shalbe required to Surrender all suche Righte interest and title whiche he hathe in Hawefeld and Highfelds accordinge to this my lastewill and testament or elts my gifte to him in Whatfelde hall as aforesaid to be voyde . . . my landes called Cawsewookke in Whatfelde be souled . . . my wyffe shall have agayne all suche Implements of howseholde as she brought to me . . . .to Elizabeth Bannocke thirtene shillings foure pence . . . and to every of her three children six shillinges eighte pence . . . to Elizabeth Grymwade twentiee shillings . . . To Elizabeth Kngye sixe shillings eight pence . . . to Rober Symson my servant fortie shillings . . . Edmund James my Servant sixe shillings eight pence. . . Executors . . . Alice m wyffe and William and Edmunde my Sonnes.1

Thomas departed this life in Nedging. His will was probated on 28 November 1547.
