William Greene

William was born on Wednesday, 5 March 1652/53 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island.1 He was the son of John Greene and Anna Almy. William married Mary Sayles on 17 December 1674 in Warwick. William and Mary had a daughter, Mary [7/08/1677] and possibly others.2 On his death bed, he made a nuncupative will on 16 January 1678 at Newport, Newport County, Rhode Island. Thomas Starr and Emert Peperday witnessed the will. William departed this life on Sunday, 16 January 1678 in Warwick at age 24 years, 10 months and 11 days. His will was probated on 12 March 1679.
