Patience Gifford

     Patience was born circa 1644 in England. She was the daughter of William Gifford. Patience married Richard Kirby II, son of Richard Kirby [Curby] and Jane (?), on 19 October 1665 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.¹ Richard and Patience had children: Sarah [5/01/1667] [m. Samuel Merihew], Temperence [5/05/1670-2/15/1763], Experience [5/05/1670] [m. John Mosher], John Kirby [3/02/1673-1727] [m. Rebecca Mosher] & Robert [3/10/1674-1757] [m. 1699 Rebecca Potter]. Patience departed this life at Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
