Deborah Greene

F, b. 10 August 1649, d. 8 February 1729/30
     Deborah was born on Tuesday, 10 August 1649 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island.1 She was the daughter of John Greene and Annis Almy. Deborah married William Torrey II, son of William Torrey and Jane Haviland, circa 1669. Deborah's husband, William, died on 11 January 1717/18 in Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, leaving her a widow. Deborah departed this life on Wednesday, 8 February 1729/30 in Weymouth at age 80 years, 5 months and 29 days. She was buried there in North Weymouth Cemetery. The inscription on her stone reads: Here lyes ye Body of Mrs. Deborah Torrey wife of Mr. William Torrey who deceased Feb. ye 8th 1728/9 in ye 80th year of her age.
