John Gernon II

     John was born in Wiltshire, England. He was the son of John Gernon I and Alice de Plessis. He owed 20 pounds to Stephen de Segrave in 1313. In 1348, his two daughters, Elizabeth, wife of John de Rycote, & Joan, wife of John de Vernon, are involved in a plea for land formerly owned by Hugh de Plessis.¹
