Elizabeth Gernon

     Elizabeth was born circa 1325 in Oavington, Wiltshire, England. She was the daughter of John Gernon II. Elizabeth married John Rycote, son of Fulk de Rycote V, in 1347 in Thame, Oxfordshire, England, at the Manor of Rycote. In 1348, hters, Elizabeth & her sister, Joan, wife of John de Vernon, are involved in a plea for land formerly owned by Hugh de Plessis.¹ She was the heiress of her father. Elizabeth departed this life circa 1372 in Thame, Oxfordshire, England, at the Manor of Rycote.
