John Fowler

M, b. circa 1405, d. 2 January 1494
     John was born circa 1405 at Buckinghamshire, England. He was the son of Henry le Fowler I and Isabel Barton. John married Alice (?) in England. John was an alderman in London. John's wife, Alice, died on 5 April 1490 in London leaving him a widower. John departed this life on Tuesday, 2 January 1494 in London. He was buried there in Grey Friar Church. Their monument is in the church reads: "Johnannes Fowler civis et pellepar ij (sic), London. Alic uxr ejus cu liberis Suis. Johannes Obitt 2d Jany, 1494: Alice Obitt 6 April 1490."1
