Henry was born circa 1679 in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York. He was noted at 31 years of age in 1710. He was the son of Henry Fowler IV and Abigail Hoyt. Henry married Ann Drake circa 1700. Henry & Ann had children: Joseph [10/30/1701], Sarah [6/17/1710-8/19/1798][m. Underhill Budd], Jane [m. William Barker], Henry, Gilbert [m. Mary Griffin] & Anne [7/10/1723-1808][m. 1743 Henry Griffin & 2nd Abraham Hatfield].4,5 In 1716 Henry purchased 330 acres of land in Mamaroneck which included land purchased by his grandfather which was the also the original homestead.6 Henry's wife, Ann, died before 2 July 1734 in Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York, leaving him a widower. Henry made his will on 2 July 1734 at Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York.
Henry Fowler, Mamaroneck - Gentleman."Legacy to eldest son Joseph Fowler. To second son Henry, house and home lot adjoining and all my land from thence upward until it shall include my field called the Winfield, all which lies on the west side of the road that leads from the Country road near Mamaroneck river to the Manor of Scarsdale. Also I my salt meadow. I leave to my son Gilbert " my Headly field, so called," with the Hammocks and land adjoining, and all my land on the east side of the road to Scarsdale, and I my salt meadow and 20 acres off the upper end of my Great Lot. Mentions "Joseph Fowler, the eldest son of my son Joseph," my daughter Sarah wife of Underhill Budd, daughter Jane wife of Wm Barker, daughter Anne, "my late wife" (no name given), " my brother Moses Fowler of Eastchester." Henry departed this life in Mamaroneck. His will was probated on 12 July 1734.
