Jacob was born. He was probably the son of Mary's aunt Susannah Townsend and Aaron Furman. He was the son of Aaron Furman Jr. and Susannah Townsend. Jacob married Mary Wright, daughter of John Wright and Mary Townsend, in Queens County, Long Island, New York.
