Alan fitz Alan

     Alan was born circa 1050 in Dol-de-Bretagne, Brittany, France. He was the son of Alan Dapifer. He witnessed a charter in 1086 relating to Mezuoit, a cell of St. Florent near Dol. He was a Crusader in 1097. He had no issue as far as it is known. Alan died in 1097 while on the crusades.
