Christopher Feld

     Christopher was born in Sowerby, Halifax Parish, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of John Feld. Christopher gave heriot on a house and 23 acres between Dedewyfeclogh and Feldehouseloyne. This property was immediately surrendered to his siblings for their use for twelve years. The fact that there was a Feldehouse lane in 1440 implies the existance of a Felde house. This is probably the building refered to hereafter and which was pulled down in the early part of the 1900's. Christopher departed this life before 1509 in Sowerby, Halifax Parish, Yorkshire, England.
