Hannah Feake1
F, b. 1636, d. 31 January 1678
Hannah was born in 1636 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Robert Feake and Elizabeth Ffownes. An unknown person married the 7th day of the 5th month 1656 in the Town of Flushing, Queens County, Long Island, New York.2,3,4 She and John were blessed with 8 children.5,6 Both John & Hannah were Quakers. Hannah died on Monday, 31 January 1678 in London, County Middlesex, England, at the home of John & Mary Elson while on a religious visit.7,8 She was buried in London, County Middlesex, England, in the Friend's burial place, Chequer Alley, Bunhill Fields. Among those present at her funeral were John's sister, Truth Bowne, her aunt Alse Feake & Alse's husband, Tobias Dickson. Also there were the Quaker ministers, George Fox & Robert Barclay.9
