Jean Fafard

M, b. 17 September 1657, d. before 21 December 1756
     Jean was born on Monday, 17 September 1657 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 18 September 1657 in the Cathedral de l'Assomption.1 He was the son of Francois Fafard and Marie Richard. Jean married Marguerite LeFleur Couc before 31 December 1686 in Pays-d'-en-Haut.2 Jean & Marguerite had children: Marie Anne [1697-9/29/1752][m. 4/15/1723 Louis LaFeuillade dit Javillon], Marguerite [m. 5 May 1710 Jean-Baptiste Turpin] & Marie Madeleine.3 Jean departed this life in Detroit, Pays-d'-en-Haut. He was buried there in the cemetery of Ste-Anne on Tuesday, 21 December 1756.4
