     Joan Le was born in England. She was the daughter of John Le Eyre. Joan Le married John de Brent, son of Robert de Brent and Elizabeth Deneband. John came into possession of lands in the parish of Middlezoy by his wife held of the Lady Stury. The family resided at Cossington, Sommerset, England.
