Benjamin Curtis1,2

     Benjamin was born on Monday, 30 September 1652 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of John Curtis and Elizabeth (?) Benjamin married Ester Judson, daughter of Joseph Judson and Sarah Porter, on 23 March 1681 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut.1 Benjamin's wife, Ester, died on 27 August 1713 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, leaving him a widower. On 27 November 1714, a prenuptial agreement was made between Benjamin & Bathsheba which gave her to dispose at her own will her personal estate & negros. Benjamin married 2nd Bathsheba Tomlinson on 1 December 1714 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. She was the widow of Ephraim Stiles.1 Benjamin departed this life before 19 June 1733 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Letters of Administration were granted for his estate on 19 June 1733 to John Curtis & Zachariah Booth.
