Mercy Culpepper

     Mercy was born in Astwood, Worcestershire, England. She was the daughter of Martin Culpepper, Esquire of Astwood, Worcestershire.1 Mercy married Sir Samuel Sandys, son of Edwin Sandys I, Archbishop of York and Cicely Wilford, circa 1586 in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England. Mercy made her will on 28 February 1629.2 Mercy departed this life before 8 March 1629 in Wickhamford, Worcestershire, England. She was buried in Wickhamford, Worcestershire, England, in the chancel of St. John the Baptist Churchyard. Her will was probated on 8 March 1629.
