Elishua Crowe

F, b. circa 1647
     Elishua was born circa 1647 in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Yelverton Crowell and Elizabeth Hammond. Elishua married John Gifford, son of William Gifford, circa 1664 at Barnstable County, Massachusetts. John and Elishua had children: Ellizabeth [12/25/1665-10/19/1701][m. 1691 Israel Tupper], Samuel [3/12/1666], John [6/12/1668], Mary [10/09/1669-10/225/1689][m. 2/01/1686 Josua Ransom], Grace [8/17/1671][m. ca. 1695 Dideon Hoxie], William [3rd/4/1673], Yelverton [4/22/1676] & Josiah [2/17/1681].2 Elishua's husband, John, died before 17 May 1708 in Sandwich, Cape Cod, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, leaving her a widow.
