Gilbert de Clare

     Gilbert de was born on Thursday, 13 September 1229 in Herefordshire, England. He was the son of Sir Gilbert de Clare 4th Earl of Hertford and Isabel Marshall. Gilbert as a last son with no inheritance, became a priest.
