Amy Calkins1

Amy was born in Colchester, New London County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Samuel Calkins and Damaris Strong. She was christened there on 6 May 1733 in Colchester.2 Amy married Obadiah Beardsley, son of John Beardsley and Keziah Wheeler, in 1751. The family resided at Fredricksburg, Dutchess County, New York. Amy's husband, an unknown person , died in 1807 in Richfield, Otsego County, New York, leaving her a widow. Amy departed this life in 1814 in Richfield.
