Samuel Butterfield

Samuel was born circa 1613 in Ovenden, Halifax Parish, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of Thomas Butterfield and Susan Wood. Samuel died in 1636 near Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut, from the torture he received from the Indians when they captured him.
