William Brooke

M, b. before 9 October 1556, d. before 17 December 1592
     William was born in London, County Middlesex, England, at the parish of St. Leonard's. He was christened there on 9 October 1556 in St. Leonard's Church [Near Eastcheap].1 He was the son of John Brooke and Elizabeth Whetman. William departed this life in London at the parish of St. Leonard's. He was buried there in the yard of St. Leonard's Church [Near Eastcheap] on Thursday, 17 December 1592.2 Letters of Administration of his estate were granted on 17 January 1594/95 On 17 January 1594-1595, his mother, Elizabeth Foote & his sister Katherine Northcott were appointed coadministratrix of his estate..3
