Mary Budd

     Mary was born in September 1654 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of John Budde II and Mary Horton. Mary married Mr. (?) Nichols before 15 October 1669 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She was mentioned as "Mary Nichols" in her grandfather John Budd's will of this date. Mary married 2nd Christopher Young I, son of Reverand John Yonges and Joan Harris, before 27 October 1684 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She and Christopher were blessed with 5 children. Mary inherited from her father one half of his right of land and meadow at Accobank. Mary's husband, Christopher, died on 31 July 1695 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, leaving her a widow. 1698, Mary was listed on the Southold Town Census.
