Christian Bruce

     Christian was born in 1273 in Seton, East Lothian, Scotland. She was the daughter of Robert de Bruce VII Earl of Carrick and Countess Marjorie of Carrick. Christian is reported to have married 3 men, Her husbands were Gartnait, Earl of Mar, Christopher Seton, and Sir Andrew Moray. There is conflicting information as to the dates of marriage, even to the order of the marriages. Sir Andrew Moray is definitely the third husband as Christian defends Kildrummy Castle in 1335, until her husband Sir Andrew returned and rescued those within the castle. Christian married Mormaer Gartnait mac Domhnaill circa 1292. Christian married 2nd Christopher Seton in 1305. Christian married 3rd Andrew Moray. Christian departed this life in 1356 in Scotland.
