Elizabeth Bridges

Elizabeth was born in England. Elizabeth married Edward Jessop, son of John Jessop and Joanna Kerrich. Elizabeth's husband, Edward, died in 1666 in West Farms, Westchester County, New York, leaving her a widow.1 On 4 November 1668, Robert and Elizabeth Jessop obtained a license to marry in Westchester County, New York. Elizabeth married 2nd Robert Beacham on or shortly after [D4] in Westchester County, New York.2
Know all men by these presents that I, Elizabeth Beacham, the relict of Robert Beacham, late of Fairfield, in the Colony of Connectgicut, in New England, deceased, have given and granted, and do by these presents give and grant unto my loving son Edward Jessop all my estate, or that shall be mine, both real and personal for good consideration . . .Thereto to be to him and his heirs forever after my decease as his own freee estate, and do hereby bind myself, my executors, administrators and assignes to ratify and confirm this grant, as witness my hand and seal, this 25th Dec., 1690 – Elizabeth Beacham - Witness Josiah Harvey John Barlow [the above was put on record, June 16,1692].3
Elizabeth's husband, Robert, died before 2 March 1690 in Fairfield, leaving her a widow.4 Elizabeth departed this life in 1692 in West Farms, Westchester County, New York.
