Ruth Bowen

F, b. circa 1629
     Ruth was born circa 1629 in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales. She was the daughter of Richard Bowen and Ann (?) Ruth married George Kenericke on 26 April 1647 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.1 George & Ruth had children: Thomas [1/23/1648], Ruth [2/16/1650], Sarah [4/12/1652], Isaac [2/12/1655], Mary [6/16/1659], Elizabeth [12/12/1661] & Abraham [2/02/1664]. Ruth departed this life in Rehoboth. She was buried at Rehoboth.

  1. [S506] Note: Various sources state that in the will of Richard Bowen that he mentions his daughter Ruth Leverich. According to a transcription of his will by George Ernest Bowin, it is evident that the name was Kenderiche not Leverich.
