Isabell was born circa 1542 in County Cornwall, England, at the Bonython Manor in the parish of Cury. She was the daughter of Richard Bonython and Jane Durant. Isabell married James Pawley, son of Thomas Pawley, circa 1557 in County Cornwall, England.
