Hannah Booth

     Hannah was born on Friday, 22 February 1691/92 in Oysterponds in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Hannah married Henry Tuthill II, son of Henry Tuthill [Justice] and Bethia Horton, circa 1714 in Oysterponds in the Town of Southold. Hannah departed this life on Sunday, 1 December 1715 in Orient at age 23 years, 9 months and 9 days. She was buried there. Her gravestone bears the following inscription: "Here lieth the body of Hanna, the wife of Henry Tuthill, who deceased in ye 24th year of her age, December the first 1715."1
