Hanna Benedict

     Hanna was born on Saturday, 25 January 1716 in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Hanna married Daniel Burt, son of Benjamin Burt and Sarah Belden, circa 1737 in Ridgefield. Daniel and Hannah had children: Daniel, Phoebe, Ruth, Lydia, Ann, Elizabeth, Esther, Hannah, James, Martha & Sarah. Hanna's husband, Daniel, died on 18 March 1805 in Warwick, Orange County, New York, leaving her a widow. Hanna departed this life on Saturday, 20 January 1810 in Warwick at age 93 years, 11 months and 26 days. She was buried there in Warwick Cemetery.¹
