William Belden1

     William was born in 1623 in Heptonstall Moor, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of Sir Richard Belden "The Immigrant" and Margaret Ackrenden. William married Commisin (?) circa 1645 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. William made his will on 27 March 1655 at Hartford County, Connecticut. The will names his wife Commisin & his six children.2 William departed this life before 1 June 1655 in Hartford County, Connecticut. The inventory of William's estate was taken on Tuesday, 1 June 1655 by John Deming, Samuel Smith & Nathaniel Dickenson.
