Elizabeth was born circa 1602 in County Suffolk, England. She was the daughter of Rev. Christopher Yonges and Margaret (?) Elizabeth and her brother, Edward, drowned in Reydon, County Suffolk, England, on Wednesday, 27 July 1616. This is date is known as St. James Day. She was buried there in the churchyard of St. Margaret's on Sunday, 31 July 1616.
