     William was born circa 1432 in Rougham, County Norfolk, England. He was the son of William Yelverton and Ela Brewes. William married Katherine Hewitt circa 1464. William departed this life on Thursday, 6 February 1519 in County Norfolk, England.3 An Inquisition Post Mortem took place on 13 June 1519; His son William, aged 37 years is his heir. He was seized of Rougham Manor.4,5
