Judah Wright

M, b. 10 May 1642, d. 26 November 1725
     Judah was born on Saturday, 10 May 1642 in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Deacon Samuel Wright and Margaret Compton.1 Judah married Mercy Burt, daughter of Henry Burt and Eulalia March, on 17 January 1667/68 in Springfield.1 Judah and Mercy had children: Samuel [11/06/1667-2/18/1688], Mercy [3/14/1669] m. Samuel Allen - their grandson was General Ethan Allen of "The Green Mountain Boys."], Hester [8/17/1671-3/25/1674], Judah [11/14/ 1673-12/25/1673], Judah [5/__/1675] [m. Mary Hoyt], Ebenezer [1679] [m. Mary], Thomas [4/08/1682], Patience [4/18/1684] [m. John Stebbins], Nathaniel [5/05/1688-11/17/1711].2 Judah's wife, Mercy, died in 1705 in Springfield leaving him a widower.1 Judah departed this life on Monday, 26 November 1725 in Deerfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts, at age 83 years, 6 months and 16 days. He was buried there in the Old Deerfield Burying Ground.3
