Jacob Waklee

M, b. circa 1654, d. before 17 February 1727
     Jacob was born circa 1654 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of Henry Waklee and Sarah Burt. Jacob married the widow of Richard Wallis and had children: Jacob [2/10/1678-dy], Jonathan [2/09/1679-1743] [m. Mary Beardslee], Ruth 8/27/1681] [m. Ephraim Treadwell & 2nd John Lacy], Henry [1/27/1683-1/09/1744] [m.12/12/1706 Rachel Stratton & 2nd 1/26/1711 Sarah Frost], Joseph [9/17/1686-4/16/1760], Israel [2/04/1690-3/29/1768] [m. Abigail], Nathaniel [-1771] [m. Rebecca], & Ann [1693-7/18/1764] [m. 1/29/1713 Timothy Wheeler].
Jacob made his will on 30 December 1726 at Stratford. In his will he mentions his sons: Jonathan, Henry, Joseph, Israel & Nathaniel; daughters: Ruth, wife of John Lacy and Ann wife of Timothy Wheeler grandsons: Jacob, son of Jonathan and Timothy, son of Timothy Wheeler.1,2 He wrote a codicil to his will on 7 January 1727. Jacob departed this life in Stratford. His will was probated on 17 February 1727 with Alexander Fairchild Senior, Alexander Junior & Thomas Sherwood as witnesses. On 24 February, John Fairchild, Alexander Fairchild Junior & Thomas Sherwood witnessed the cocodil.3
