William Valentine

     William was born circa 1659 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of Richard Valentine I and Deborah (?) William married Abigail (?) circa 1682 in the Town of Hempstead. William & Abigail had children: Abigail, Deborah, Mary, Margaret, William, Richard, Elizabeth & Jane. 31 August 1698, William and Abigail and his wife, [ROF:Hempstead Town] were listed on the Hempstead Town Census. Enumerated in this household were William Valentine, Abigail, Abigail, Deborah, Mary, Margaret, William, Richard, Elizabeth, Jane, Widow Valentine & Nathan Valentine. His mother appears to either be living with or next door to his family. William departed this life in 1704 in Hempstead Town.
