Tabitha Vail
F, b. 1661, d. 16 December 1735
Tabitha was born in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Vail and Mary Folger. Tabitha married Henry Case II, son of Henry Case and Martha Corwin, in 1681 in the Town of Southold.1 1698, Henry and Tabitha and her husband, [ROF:Southold Town] werelisted on the Southold Town Census. Enumerated in this household were Henry Case, Tabitha, Henry Junjr, Samuel, Benjamin, Tabitha Junjr, Mary.2 Tabitha's husband, Henry, died on 16 April 1720 in the Town of Southold leaving her a widow.3 Tabitha departed this life on Friday, 16 December 1735 in the Town of Southold at age 74 years. She was buried there in the First Presbyterian Church burying ground in the village of Southold.4
