     Joanne was born. She was the daughter of William Welles. Joanne married Henry Coggeshall, son of Sir John Coggeshall Knight and Margaret de Stanton, in County Essex, England. She was the heiress of her father and inherited the Manor of Samford of Exning, County Suffolk, England.
