James Walling II1
M, b. circa 1697, d. after 1740
James was born circa 1697 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. He was the son of James Walling and Elizabeth Sprague. James married Susannah Inman, daughter of Edward Inman III and Mary Malavery, circa 1720 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. He and James were blessed with 7 children. He signed a petition to the Rhode Island Legislature in June 1728. James & Susannah's daughter Mary was scalped by the Indians.2 James & Susannah came to Beekman by 1740 when they sold their land in Glocester.3 James departed this life after 1740.
