     Elizabeth was born in Northamptonshire, England, at the manor of Howthrope. She was the daughter and coheiress of Edward Villiers of Howthorpe, County Northampton. Elizabeth married George Bathurst, son of Lancelot Bathurst and Judith Randolph.
