Judith Torrey

F, b. 1655, d. 18 October 1693
     Judith was born in 1655 in Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of William Torrey and Elizabeth Fry. Judith married Thomas Hunt circa 1673. Thomas and Judith had children: Thomas [11/11/1674], John, Ephraim [4/17/1677], Ann [5/11/1679][m. Peter Coffin], Ephraim [2/17/1681], Elizabeth [12/21/1686], Elizabeth [1/04/1688], Samuel [2/09/1689][m. Mary Landon], Mary 8/28/1692] & Ebenezer [10/13/1695].2 Judith departed this life on Sunday, 18 October 1693 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at age 38 years.3 She was buried there in Copp's Hill Cemetery. The inscription on her tombstone reads: "died 18th Oct. 1693, age 38 years: daughter of William Torrey of Weymouth."4
